K´atú is the legendary Inca drink, with the mysterious power said to brighten up your mind.
The civilizations of the Andes-region revered K´atú because of its positive effects, it was an important component for the ritual festivities of the Incas.

The beverage was prepared some days before the solemnity from the K´atú - fruit and then enjoyed directly before the beginning of the ceremony. Until today, the Indians have kept a sentence of this time: "K´atú will rise the sun in your head!".
The name "K´atú" means "illumination".

In 1994 Dr. Michael Suitner got to know K´atú during a visit to South America and decided to bring this beverage with its unusual effect to Europe.
